Hi, my name is Tobia (Toe-be-ah)!
I’m a Product & Visual Designer. I have over a decade of experience in the design industry. I’ve spent several years in the startup world & tech scene, and I got a chance to work with many companies and shipped products in different countries during full time jobs and some freelance gigs.
I’m currently working at Yelp with the Design System Team as a Lead Designer. I work closely with our Biz Local Team and our Consumer Team in order to define a design system to better support the overall design of the product.
Previously I was at Bonagora where I spent three years on designing a digital product for the home fashion industry. During my time at Bonagora I’ve been in charge of the design of the entire product across different platforms and worked closely with designers, engineers, marketing and stakeholders.
Before Bonagora I worked at Tunedin where we wanted to revolutionize the way people watch and interact with TV entertainment. I worked on the iOS app for iPhone and iPad, and then I completely dedicated my time to the Android app working closely with designers and engineers to redesign the app from scratch.

Train, eat, sleep, repeat
I’m a strong believer in the healthy living. This translates into eating well, sleeping a lot, added to a daily dose of good training.
CrossFit & Functional Body Building are my main sports now, but I’m into sports in general – soccer, tennis, beach tennis, beach volley, snowboard, to name a few.
3D & VFX Enthusiast
A deep respect and admiration for people that are able to pull off imaginary world and FX via 3D skills, is what makes me very interested and passionate about 3D and all the connected subjects.
From modeling to texturing, from rendering to animation, from VFX and compositions — all these disciplines poke my interests very deeply

Music Production
This is one of my favorite creative outlets outside work – to me speaking to people through music is something special.
Being able to create something from scratch that bring emotions to people is a process I love: a melody, a chord progression, and a rhythm. All of this contributes to create something unique that hopefully make people dance, smile, and even cry.
